PROFESSOR CHALLENGER

Professor Challenger, the irascible genius, is the creation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Though not nearly as well known as Doyle’s other more famous creation, Sherlock Holmes, Professor Challenger starred in five stories. The best known of the Professor Challenger adventures is "The Lost World."
Where the Holmes stories are mysteries, the Challenger tales are science fiction. Many people who have made the discovery of the exploits of Professor Challenger prefer them over the Holmes tales because of their humorous quality.
I have adapted some of the Challenger stories into the comic book medium. "The Lost World" and "The Poison Belt" have been published. "When The World Screamed" and "The Disintegration Machine" are just about finished and will see print sometime in the future.
